| Saint Seiya/Knights of the Zodiac Summary: |

I
know a lot of people don't know about Saint Seiya since
it was never published in the U.s but Saint Seiya was
and still is one of the best animes ever made. It was
in the top 5 anime ranking in Japan between 1985-1990
and many people think it was better than Dragon Ball
and if you saw Saint Seiya you'll probably think the
same.
Saint Seiya is basically about warriors trying
to protect the Greek Goddess Athena from the Evil Gods
like Poseidon, Abel, Hilda of Polaris, etc. Each warrior
has a different cloth's, there are 10 warriors that
have a bronze cloth's, 24 warriors that have a silver
cloth's, and there are also the warriors of the 12 signs
of the Zodiac that have a gold cloth's. There are many
warriors, I don't know how many but there are a lot,
each warrior is protected by a different Star or Costellation
in the Universe.
There is also a Saga that was only
published in Manga but never in anime due to problems
in Toei Anime but just recently Toei Anime realsed a
press conference saying that Saint Seiya will be released
in anime in December, 2002 and in an OVA in the early
months of 2003. I just want to say that Saint Seiya
is the best action anime ever made and in some levels
is better than Dragon Ball, but I still like both the
same. |

Saint Seiya (which is now known as Knights of the Zodiac in America) is the best anime ever to be created. Basically, there are these saints called the Bronze Saints that has to protect the Princess (Saori - or Sienna in English) from harm. There are 10 Bronze saints, 12 Gold saints, and 24 silver saints. The Bronze saints ends up fighting against all these saints. There was also a part of the manga (Hades manga) that was never made into an anime until the end of last year (I think).
Currently, Toei Anime has already made the first part of the Hades manga into anime (13 episodes). ADV Films will be releasing the T.V series in America on October 21, 2003. Viz will release the manga sometime in the beginning of next year. If you wish to see the anime now, it is being aired on Cartoon Network at 7 p.m Eastern time on Saturdays. They started airing the series on August 30,2003. |

I'm still waiting that Cartoon Network start transmiting the episodes of the Hades Saga, from what i've been told is really good.
